This was my first visit to Peaks Top Farm, and it most certainly will not be the last.Rodney greeted me on arrival, and made me feel really welcome. He showed me the room, explained where all the facilities were, and asked me what time I would like breakfast. (Never had that experience before)! The accommodation was first class.A comfortable bed, the room was really cosy and warm considering it was November and the wind had a bite to it.The breakfast was outstanding. The choice was really extensive and there was no pressure, as is often the case in other establishments.I chose the full English, (with their own free-range eggs), and finished it off with toast and their own Gooseberry Preserve.... Absolutely Outstanding! After breakfast Rodney outlined the various areas of their business, and encouraged me to have a walk around the farm.Being November it is a quiet time as far as fruit production is concerned, so I took a stroll to see the Free-Range Hens. They are in huge paddocks with vast areas of room for them to live in. It was obvious that they were Happy Hens!A visit to the Winery to see the extensive range of home produced fruit wines and preserves, was a delight.I am really looking forward to my next visit.Martin AKent

Divine fruits and much more fabulous things that offer fun filled weekends. I personally would definitely travel there again.

We stayed on the caravan site which was very nice and my parents stayed in the B&B. There room was massive and very well decorated. Will definitely be going back.

Bed-and-Breakfast accommodation is not existing within the home, much betterThe apartment which I stayed in:1. Road noise could be heard2. The bed was stiff as a board, asking if it was an orthopaedic bed, the reply was," No, it is an ordinary one", no alternative was offered.3. The shower did not work efficiently, when complaining I was told lack of pressure, & that I must have fiddled with it, not true to some extent. When one cannot get hot water one does try to seek a solution by following instructions given by the owners, after doing so warm tepid water was the result.4. 100% compliments on the dcor 11 out of 10 for condition5. I found the bedding to be damp - pillows with no life, no apology given, when enquiring the following morning, asking if the windows have been open all the time, this explaining the damp they are getting into the room, was told the bedding is not damp, I suffer with bronchitis so any change is noticeable when there is dampness6. Breakfast was of good quality, not quantityIt is my opinion: The radiators were not turned on Full, this would suggest the central heating pump was not engaged producing a lack of pressure & hot water together with a faulty shower, and a very ironing board like bed meant no sleep was possible. Did not stay the 2nd night. I raise the issues with the owners the following day, they blamed me for fiddling with the shower when it is a faulty shower without the boiler engaged. A lightbulb was missing on the dressing table so it was not possible to use this table lamp. However, I do have to point out the bed-and-breakfast accommodation is not existing within the home, much better, they have converted some buildings for individual apartments which are separate to the main house.A warm welcome awaits you hear. Nothing was too small or insignificant in the welcome which I received.I felt that badly about complaining I reconcile myself with the thought this would give the chance for improvement hoping this will be true.
